Isn’t this called Twitter? I know imitation isn’t new to the world, and certainly not to the tech sector. I’m calling attention to Jaiku because it indicates to me that Twitter as a communication form has become relevant enough now to copy.
Metafluence is my blog that focuses on graphic and web design, Internet strategy, web development business practices, and industry points of interest. I continue loading the admin of my Wordpress blog day in and day out because I like connecting with people. It also gives me warm fuzzies to post on here because I know I learned about web development by reading other people's blogs. Hrmm…Neil, you seem to be correct. It doesn’t look like imitation, but rather various people coming to a similar conclusion simultaneously. That makes an even stronger case that this form of communication is going to have a long term place.
I can’t wait for cameras to have Flickr buttons…
