Metafluence is my blog that focuses on graphic and web design, Internet strategy, web development business practices, and industry points of interest. Nice - I’m glad you brought this up! I met with Justin (Siegel, the CEO) a few times when we were both living in Burlington, VT last year. We talked about how cool it would be if they tied the system into our daily lives with various data distribution systems. E.g. a killer app for the college crowd would be if they hooked it into the Registrar, to grab class schedules, homework, etc. And of course, another channel to let people know where the parties were that night… group text messaging just hasn’t been done right, this would be a good platform.
