Opening night party for WebVisions sponsored by Nemo Design
Hey everybody it’s party time! My company, Nemo Design, is hosting the opening night party for the WebVisions conference here in Portland. It’s a no host bar, but the first 100 attendees will receive a free drink ticket.
If you don’t know, WebVisions is a great conference. In the words of Brad Smith, the Executive Director:
WebVisions explores the future of design, content creation, user experience and business strategy to uncover the trends and agents of change that will shatter your assumptions about the Web. Be ready to network, share ideas and be inspired by an all-star lineup of speakers.
Over the years, we’ve built a loyal audience of designers, developers and industry leaders. I invite you to join us for an event that’s seen as “the creative conference for the Web.”
This year will prove to be another exciting year with the Keynote from Kent Nichols and Douglas Sarine of AskaNinja.com. Other speakers include David Pescovitz (co-editor of BoingBoing.net), Garrett Dimon (of Geniant), and David McFarland (Author of CSS: The Missing Manual). Check it out. It will be all kinds of geeky good times mixed with business and pleasure.

Can I purchase a video, report, or review of the conference from you?
I can’t attend, but this is just the type of information that I need/want to know for my new job. Thanks!

Hey thanks, I know you are busy- I made an jump/move into another field and nearly doubled my salary- the thing is I am doing the stuff I LOVE to do for free- my official title will be Futurist- I am SO happy!!!
I now work for Verge Consulting- Nan DeVore is the CEO. I totally value all your bits of wisdom- they are so impressed with what I know, and I am like- that is nothing, but thanks!
We need a web site, and she has a designer already… But you can see why I wanted to contact you. She has amazing big name clients (like fortune 500) and I get to do a board presentation on the future as it applies to a company the end of May! Nanotech and all that really neat stuff… Am I that weird/unique?
The search is on and you are totally hired to throw some cool stuff my way. I am joining the world future society- hell ya!
::sigh::
I love life!
