Using the Share icon now
I started using the Share icon for my, well, sharing options.

Metafluence is my blog that focuses on graphic and web design, Internet strategy, web development business practices, and industry points of interest. I continue loading the admin of my Wordpress blog day in and day out because I like connecting with people. It also gives me warm fuzzies to post on here because I know I learned about web development by reading other people's blogs. If you read something on here that you like, feel free to leave me a comment, ask me a question, and/or introduce yourself. If you need some help formulating a strategy for your website or defining a project before hiring professional web development company, I am available for strategic Internet consulting.
Shouldn’t you collate all those social bookmark icons (and the drop-down) into that one share icon? Now you’re adding the share icon in addition to the other icons, which is sort of what it’s not supposed to do :)
The share icons webpage does have a wordpress plugin does exactly that, to give you one button/icon instead of 7 (and a drop-down) in your case.

Chain, on my new site design I will have only the single share icon. For now, at least I’m using it to demarcate the sharing options. :)

Ok, now I’m using it as Alex King originally intended it. ;)
